Have you been mom for so long that you don’t know what your own interests are? Trying to figure out how to learn, be challenged, and feel accomplished without sacrificing family time? Welcome to the Solve for Mom Podcast! Here, you will find solutions to be your best self and pursue your interests during motherhood without taking time or money away from your family. Hi! I’m Anokhi, a homeschooling mom, wife, and PhD scientist. A few years ago, I welcomed the opportunity to pour myself into being a mom. What I did not expect was to feel over-committed, sidelined, and scattered. Not to mention, I was frustrated by the long list of skills and hobbies I wanted to pick back up, but instead went by the wayside after I had kids. To regain order, I did what was natural to me. I leaned into scientific frameworks I used daily in my biomedical research and consulting career to help me create a roadmap to get back onto the right trajectory. I balanced my priorities, and systematically learned to develop my skills in alignment with my purpose. I energized my life with high-performance plans while still spending time with my family. Now, each transition in motherhood is an opportunity for me to explore my interests and customize MY time to fit MY individuality! If you’re ready to go questing for your purpose, level up your learning, and confidently pursue your passions - while still being the awesome momma that you are - you’re in the right place! I’ll show up each week with friendly support, critical thinking lessons, and actionable plans that you can apply to outlet in your life. With this podcast, you’ll be on your way to organize your life based on what matters most to you and gain some freedom, whether it be creative, intellectual, financial, time, or space… This podcast is for you if you want to: • Find more time to knowledgeably and decisively pursue dormant skills while prioritizing motherhood • Add intellectual and creative rhythm back into your life • Transition from a traditional job to remote work, freelancing, or homeschooling • Adopt powerful learning habits that bring you consistency, discipline, and order • Override conflicts such as excuses, second-guessing, and “mom brain” • Take charge of your mom-at-home journey with plans, strategies and critical thinking tools. Hey Successful Mama!
Are you setting goals for yourself—only to have them derailed by sick kids, last-minute school projects, or the never-ending mental load? Maybe you dream of growing your business, homeschooling with more intention, or simply making time for self-care… but you find it hard to balance your goals with your family’s needs.
I get it. I’ve been there.
If you’ve ever felt guilty, overwhelmed, or stuck when trying to set personal goals, this episode will help you find balance so you can thrive in BOTH motherhood and your passions.
I once took on an exciting new project that challenged me professionally. I was learning, growing—but also missing out on precious family moments. I thought achieving success in one area meant sacrificing another. But the truth? You don’t have to choose between your personal goals and your family. You just need a better way to align them.
In today’s episode, I share how to set goals that fit your season of motherhood (without frustration or burnout) by first defining your family’s core values so your goals don’t pull you in opposite directions. I explain why family-centered time management is the key - not the barrier - to making progress. Listen in to learn how to structure your schedule for flexibility—because, let’s be real, mom life is unpredictable. I also share the secret to choosing goals that create time freedom, not just more hustle.
If you’re ready to make progress on your goals without sacrificing family time, hit play! Together, we can Solve for Mom.
